Hola ratitas! hoy toca post de moda y como ya se acerca el otoño y con él, el frío, hablaremos de una prenda que está muy de moda esta temporada: los gorros, tanto para mujer como para hombre. Para el invierno podemos encontrar muchos tipos de gorro pero sobre todo de lana, que son los que más abrigan. Además son un detalle que si lo conjuntas bien puede aportar mucha armonía a nuestros outfit y sino mirad a las celebrities lo ideales que van con sus gorritos:

Infestados // Infested

En primer lugar, queríamos pedir disculpas por no poner ningún post el jueves y viernes y avisar de que los fines de semana descansaremos. Dicho esto, hoy nos gustaría hablar de las películas sobre infestados, un género que últimamente está tomando cada vez más importancia tanto en películas como en videojuegos como Call of Duty o The Last of Us.

First of all, we want to apologize for not posting anything on Thursday and Friday and inform that we won't post any weekend. After this, we'd like to talk about films about infested people, a genre which is getting more and more importance lately either in films and video games like Call Of Duty or The Last of Us.

Y es que es un tema que viene muy bien para películas que se muevan entre los géneros de acción y thriller y que gusta mucho porque son cosas que quien sabe si podrían ocurrir de forma similar realmente debido a algún fallo en la medicina moderna o virus.
Sin ir más lejos, últimamente se ha ido extendiendo principalmente en EEUU una droga vendida como sales de baño que provoca en ocasiones efectos muy parecidos a los de los zombis, habiendo provocado diversos casos de canivalismo en plena calle, en este vídeo de Cuatro podemos saber un poco sobre esta droga y lo que ha provocado, llegando a obligar a la Casablanca a aclarar que no hay ninguna invasión zombi en el país.

It is a very good subject for films which move between action and thriller and that is really liked because those things could actually take place nowadays due to a fail in modern Medicine or a virus.
Not so far, there's a drug sold as smelling salts that is spreading out in the USA and causes sometimes very similar effects to zombies, causing several cases of cannibalism in the streets. In this video of the channel Cuatro, we can learn a bit more about this drug and what it has made, even make The White House say that there isn't any zombie invasion in America. 


La película más reciente de este género es Guerra Mundial Z de Brad Pitt estrenada este verano, en este caso se trata de un virus que se va extendiendo rápidamente por todo el mundo.

The most recent film of this genre is World War Z with Brad Pitt, exposed for the first time this summer, in this case is about a virus that spread out quickly all around the world.

Otra que probablemente sea mi favorita en este género es Soy Leyenda de finales de 2007 protagonizada por Will Smith, aquí tenemos el ejemplo de un fallo en la medicina de última generación que altera genéticamente el virus de la viruela para crear una cura contra el cáncer, el resultado es que se convierte en un virus mortal y convierte a los infectados en seres ultrasensibles a los rayos solares que intentan infectar al resto de la población.

Another one which is probably my favourite in this genre is I Am Legend of 2007 stared in by Will Smith, here we have the example of a fail in Medicina that alters the smallpox virus to create a cure for cancer, the result is that it turns in a mortal virus and transform the infected people in zombies that can't receive sunlight and try to infect the rest of the world.

Tengo que hablar tambien de 28 días después, película que aunque tengo que confesar que no he visto dicen que es realmente buena en este género, todo empieza porque unos ecologistas liberan sin hacer caso a las advertencias de que no lo hicieran a unos primates infectados con una variante de la rabia que estaban siendo sometidos a experimentos, ellos son los primeros infectados por el virus que provoca una furia asesina y rápidamente se extiende también el virus por todas partes.

I also must talk about 28 Days Later, film that I have to say that I haven't watched but I've heard that is really good. Everything starts because a group of ecologists free, without listening to the scientists' warnings, some primates infected with a variation of rabies that was being submitted to experiments. They become the first infected by the virus that causes an assassin fury and it spread out quickly too.

MTV Video Music Awards

Hace algo menos de dos semanas fueron los VMA (Video Music Awards) y como el blog tiene tan solo tres días queríamos comentarlo.

Less than two weeks ago, we had the VMA ceremony (Video Music Awards) and, as the blog was created just three days ago, we would like to comment it.

Lo más hablado de la gala fue la estrepitosa y tan comentada actuación de Miley Cyrus. La joven Hannah Montana quiso demostrar que ya no es una niña y parece que lo ha conseguido cortándose su larga melena castaña y peinándola con dos pequeños moños como cuernos que adornaron su cabeza durante el debut. Cabe destacar el escándalo que causo con el atrevido de su actuación, pese a que adoptaba un tono provocador desde el principio no fue del todo bochornoso hasta que entró Robin Thicke, se quedó semidesnuda con una malla de color carne y empezó a hacer el ridículo con una mano de gomaespuma causando incluso vergüenza ajena a los espectadores que dejó boquiabiertos.

The most commented of the show was the resounding performance of Miley Cyrus. The young Hannah Montana wanted to demonstrate that she's no longer a child and it looks like she has achieved it cutting her long brown mane and decorating it with two little buns like horns that dressed her head during the debut. We must highlight the scandal she caused with her impudent performance, despite she adopted a provocative tone from the start, it wasn't so shameful until Robin Thicke came, she got half-naked with the flesh toned tights and started to make a fool of herself with a foam rubber hand, causing even social shame social shame in the spectators who she left open-mouthed.

Justin Timberlake fue probablemente el gran triunfador de la gala (junto con Macklemore) con tres premios, entre ellos el de mejor vídeo del año con Mirrors y una impresionante actuación de todo un showman que ya nos tiene acostumbrados a lo mejor. Canta, actúa y es guapo, ¡todo un "Perfect Boy" de los que nos encantan a las chicas!

Justin Timberlake was probably the great winner of the ceremony (together with Macklemore) with three awards, including the one of Best Video of the Year with "Mirrors" and an impressing performance of all of a showman that already has us accustomed to the best. He sings, dances and it's good-looking, an authentic "Perfect Boy" like the ones who girls love!

El otro que salió más beneficiado de la gala fue sin duda Macklemore, que con su inseparable Ryan Lewis se llevó otros tres premios, entre los que destaca el de mejor video con mensaje social por Same Love, en apoyo a la homosexualidad que por supuesto, recibió críticas por algunos sectores pero contó con una gran actuación que no dejó indiferente a nadie, no podemos olvidarnos del premio que más le identifica, el de mejor video de hip-hop, ya que no cabe duda de que actuamente no hay nadie mejor en este género que Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

The other who finished the most awarded was without any doubt Macklemore, who together with his inseparable Ryan Lewis obtained other three awards, between which the one for the Best Video with Social Message stands out thanks to Same Love, supporting the homosexuality that of course, received some critics by some sectors of the public but it counted with a great performance that didn't left indifferent anybody. But we can't forget the one who identifies him the most, for the Best Hip-Hop Video considering that nowadays there's nobody better tah Macklemore & Ryan Lewis in this style.

Bruno Mars se llevó el premio al mejor video masculino por Locked Out of Heaven y a la mejor coreografía con Treasure, además, lo bordó en su actuación, como siempre, este chico cada vez se supera más a sí mismo, no solo tiene una voz increible, sino que sus canciones son maravillosas, y es que, ¿a quién no le gusta Bruno Mars?

Bruno Mars got the award for the Best Male Video with Locked Out Of Heaven and Best Choreography with Treasure. He also made a great performance as usual, this guy is becoming more than himself, not only he has an amazing voice, his songs are wonderful too. After all, who doesn't like Bruno Mars?

Los chicos de One Direction también se llevaron el premio al mejor vídeo del verano por Best Song Ever. Mantuvieron su estilazo en la gala con esos looks tan propios de ellos, estos chicos arrasan por donde van y es que One Direction es tan exitoso que ha llegado a la gran pantalla, ¡enhorabuena por la peli y el premio!

One Direction guys also got an award for the Best Song of the Summer with "Best Song Ever". They kept their style at the gala with those looks so typical of them, these guys ravage wherever they go and 1D is as succesful that they have reached the big screen, congratulation for the award and the movie!

La que nos sorprendió para bien fue la guapísima Selena Gómez, que lucía un maravilloso y sexy vestido azul marino. Se llevó el premio al mejor vídeo de pop y su actuación nos encantó, de diez!

The one who impressed us positively was the gorgeous Selena Gomez, who wore a wonderful and sexy blue dress. She obtained the award for the Best Pop Video and we loved her performance, perfect!

Más allá del fútbol // Further than football

Cuando dijimos que en este blog se hablaría de deporte, nos referíamos por supuesto a todo tipo de deportes, no solo fútbol (que también) que algunos ven como el único deporte del mundo. Y para demostrarlo, quiero empezar con un post sobre el tenis, el deporte que más practico habitualmente.

When we said that in this blog we would talk about sport, we meant of course all kind of sports, not only football (that we will talk about too), that some people see as the only sport in the world. And to prove it, I want to start with a post about tennis, the one which I practise the most now.

El tenis es un deporte que a veces parece algo olvidado, quizás porque necesitas toda una pista, red, raquetas, bolas, etc. y no es tan secillo de practicar como el fútbol o baloncesto, pero, aunque de primeras puede ser algo complicado, es muy entretenido una vez que sabes jugar, y sobre todo muy práctico en cuanto a que trabaja casi todas las partes del cuerpo, por lo que si buscais hacer ejercicio general y estar en forma, el tenis es un deporte perfecto, trabaja tanto en brazos a la hora de golpear la bola, como piernas, ya que aunque no lo parezca hay que correr bastante en sprints cortos pero constantes e incluso abdominales, ya que es necesario dejar el cuerpo rígido al golpear.
Con esto lo que quiero decir es que si alguna vez nos apetece probar algo para hacer ejercicio de una forma divertida el tenis es una buena opción.

Sometimes, tennis seems a bit forgotten, maybe cause you need a court, net, rackets, balls, etc. and it's not as easy to practise as football or basketball but, although at first it can be a a bit complicated, it's really enjoyable once you know how to play. And above all it's very useful because it requires mostly every part of the body, so if you're looking for doing exercise in general and keep fit, tennis is a perfect sport. It makes work as much your arms when you hit the ball, as your legs, because although it doesn't seem it, you have to run a lot in short but continuous sprints and even abdominals considering that you must keep your body rigid when you hit the ball.
What I wnt to say with this is that if you sometime feel like try something to work out in a fun way, tennis is a great option.

Horizontales o verticales, todo vale en la tendencia que arrasa esta temporada. Las observamos en todo tipo de prendas: faldas, camisas, pantalones..etc y es que las rayas se han convertido en un must-have este otoño.
